This year our convention theme is Everywhere We Go, We Tell Our Story: Advancing Alpha’s Footprint” and builds specifically on our 90th and 91st Anniversary themes Writing Alpha’s Next Chapter” and The True Spirit of Fraternity”, respectively. Alpha’s story is still being written, but unfortunately, some people think that we are an organization for the 20 th century. It is incumbent upon us to let people know the work of Alpha has never stopped, as it is abundantly clear that the fight for advocacy, equity, and social justice is needed now more than ever. To S.E.R.V.E. with purpose, we must Strategically Elevate the Relevance, Value, and Effectiveness” of our Fraternity. This year’s theme allows us to explore our methods of communication, storytelling skills, and the importance of controlling and crafting the narrative. With a focus on media literacy and engagement, content creation, and best practices for chapter and professional branding, we will promote membership and personal development, and leadership, organizational, and business development. These skills will allow us to amplify our Fraternity’s mission and better aid our communities around the globe. We strongly encourage you to bring your family.
